If you would like to marry in church it is advisable to make contact with the Benefice Office before making other firm bookings, such as the venue for your reception. You might not be the only couple who would like to marry in one of our churches on your chosen day so check early that the church is available and that there is a Minister available to conduct your wedding. We are currently in the process of appointing a new Rector who will probably be in post before your wedding or if not we will arrange for a Minister to come from a neighbouring parish. One of our Lay Ministers will discuss all the legal and financial requirements with you but you might like to visit the Church of England wedding site for some information before you contact our office which can also be reached on 01948 890610.
Baptism is a response to God's love - a desire and a commitment to respond to God's call to follow the example of Jesus Christ. It is also a celebration, a time to come together with family and friends, remembering that you are loved by God, are part of a wider community and have a place with God's people.
To arrange for your child or yourself to be baptised please contact The Benefice Office or phone us on 01948 890610; there is more information about baptism and confirmation on the Church of England website
If you do not feel ready yet to make the commitment of baptism please talk to us about a service of Thanksgiving for the Gift of a Child.
